INGENII has developed proprietary software to expedite the design of structural steel connections, allowing INGENII to efficiently optimize connection sizes. Connection designs prepared by the engineer of record create the additional benefit of faster turn around times for shop drawing preparation and submittal reviews, critically important on fast-track schedules.

INGENII has developed additional software for the design of economical single angle and WT bracing members, masonry walls, concrete piers and anchor bolts. Through the use of these tools and other third party software, INGENII’s engineers can efficiently evaluate alternate designs and perform optimization reviews that can reduce structural steel and concrete material requirements. This results in a lower total project cost for the client, without requiring a significant fee premium over engineers that perform a once through design. In many instances, INGENII’s ability to reduce structural material quantities for a project results in savings to the client that more than offsets INGENII’s total fee for professional engineering services.

INGENII is available to assist our clients in developing conceptual designs and preliminary material quantity estimates for use in feasibility studies or bid development. If contracted to perform the detailed design for those projects, INGENII is prepared to guarantee the material quantities developed in the conceptual design phase. When necessary, except for changes in the project scope initiate by the client, INGENII will commit to perform additional value engineering, at our expense, to deliver the project in at the originally estimated quantities.
